What we do
Missed’s objective of creating awareness for missing individuals has broadened to include awareness for the associated issues, and our focus on providing practical support has expanded to include emotional support.

Our work creates awareness for missing persons and supports those left behind. We launch initiatives that challenge stereotypes and remove stigma, engage the media through strategic communications, empower families with sensitive and sensible opportunities, connect them to specialised supports, and educate the public on associated issues, like ambiguous loss.

We establish partnerships with stakeholders in industries that lessen the profound burden on those left behind.

Though unfunded, we are referred to by senior police, national mental health organisations, government-funded social workers and health providers.
